Beautiful post! It's true - we'd get tired of summer probably if we didn't have winter...at the very least it makes it more special. I love your little nook by the windows, such great light you get there! I spend as much time as I can near my south-facing windows in the winter as I can, light is so good for the soul.

Such a gorgeous picture! And I couldn't agree more, light and sunshine are akin to oxygen for a Florida girl! I lived in a tiny studio apartment once with only one little window and was miserable and every time I think of my dream home, the first thing that comes to mind are huge windows!
